Lost wax casting is an ancient metalworking technique used for centuries to create detailed works of art and jewelry.

A wax model is used to create a mold, molten metal is poured into the mold, and the finished casting is carefully cleaned and refined by hand. This process allows intricate antique Catholic medal designs to be faithfully reproduced in solid bronze, sterling silver, and 14k gold.
